Surgical Plaster Casts
We have had some feed back from people who have used HikersWool in their surgical plaster casts to stop the the itching. Those of you who have had a limb in plaster will know about the irritation that can occur after the the plaster has been next to the skin for a while.
If this happens just push small pieces of HikersWool between the cast and the skin carefully with something like a knitting needle or a wooden skewer (blunt end). Remember to be gentle when easing the wool in so you don't scratch the skin.
This will make a soft wool cushion between your skin and the plaster giving intstant relief from irritation.
